Leads

Many old pencils took a 1.18mm lead which was standard size in the years preceding the 1960’s. They fitted most pencils of the time, including Parker, Conway Stewart and many old gold and silver pencils. These leads are no longer made.

I still have some Montblanc 1.18mm leads. These are 1 ¾ inches long and come in tubes of 8. I have the following grades: BB B HB & H.

Price £4.50 per tube.
