The Parker Sonnet has been a popular Parker pen for many years. A good sign of how popular a pen is, is shown by the amount of different nib points it has available. The Sonnet has a large range of nib points. It takes the standard Parker filling mechanism, which can be removed to take cartridges if desired. It's dimensions are: Capped 5.24" (133.2mm) : Posted 5.73" (145.7mm) : Diameter 0.42" (10.8mm. ). Furthermore it comes in so many different finishes that there is a model to suit every pocket.

I have divided the Sonnets into three categories: Mk I - the older model with narrow cap band. Mk II - the current model with wide cap band. Insignia - basically the Mk I but with less gold trim.
