The New Generation of Conway Stewarts
In my book 'Fountains Pens', I make the comment that some of today's Limited Editions are 'wonders to behold', and I prove the point with photos of some of the new Conway Stewart Limited Editions. These are not ostentatious, like many of the continental ones, but are more traditional in appearance, being unquestionably 'British'. It is for this reason that I decided to offer the new Conway Stewarts on this site, further fulfilling my promise only to sell items of quality.
Because the beautiful presentation boxes for these pens are quite heavy, all orders for Conway Stewart pens will be sent out to you post free in the U.K.

This is Conway Stewart's new resin series, the Coronet. Created with time-honoured British craftsmanship and inspired by original designs of Conway Stewart models made during the 1940s, this newest addition of fine writing instruments offers a modern approach to the evocative world of fountain pens.
The Coronet has a clean and elegant style rendered in distinguished polished resin, a fabulous combination that makes this exciting new Conway Stewart edition a perfect fit for the always-evolving young professional market. Designed to marry a classic British heritage of fine writing instruments with a timeless modern shape, the Coronet adapts a traditional mode of writing to the today’s paperless world.
Each
Coronet fountain pen is crafted of hand fitted and polished resin in a choice of
five colours; Brown Whirl, Exmoor, Dartmoor, Turquoise Fleck and Walnut. These
modern colours are accented with gleaming 18-carat solid gold bands featured on
the cap and barrel, along with the traditionally styled Conway Stewart pocket
clip. The slight taper to the cap and barrel, in conjunction with the use of
elegant resins result in a fine writing instrument that is both practical and
beautiful -- precisely balanced to allow the solid 18 carat gold nib to glide
smoothly across the paper with effortless ease. The section is shaped to be
comfortable in the hand, making writing with the Coronet a pleasure and sized to
fit neatly into pocket or purse.
The finely crafted solid 18 carat gold Medium nib is at the heart of the Coronet and brings a new world of writing luxury to those who have grown accustomed to today’s impersonal communication of cell phones, websites, and email. Smoothly delivering liquid ink from either cartridges or bottled ink via the included twist style converter, the Coronet makes writing even the shortest of notes into a personal expression that stands out in today’s fast paced modern world.
The new packaging for the Conway Stewart Coronet series has been designed to house your fountain pen and to serve as a showcase pen stand for the desk. The display box is crafted of luxurious full grain leather in a rich black colour. Not only is this an elegant and stylish presentation to house and protect your gift, the top of the lid can be reversed to make an executive desk stand for display.
The Coronet is priced very competitively for such a high quality-writing instrument, and we feel confident that this offering represents great value.

The new Belliver model from Conway Stewart is a return to the finest traditions of CS heritage, rooted in attention to detail, a perfect size and weight, as well as a timeless design married to understated accents. From the carefully crafted resin cap and barrel, each alight in the pearlescent shades of our Classic Brown to the rich gold trim and expertly fitted 18 carat solid gold nib, the Belliver was created with one goal in mind: Making the experience of writing as perfect as possible. The Belliver is sized to be ideal for the widest possible range of hand sizes and writing styles. Not so large as to be unwieldy in the hand, but still of a size to command instant attention, as well as to afford a comfortable grip. The Belliver is balanced using a solid brass barrel liner to offer just enough weight for the pen to sit easily in the hand without becoming tiring during long periods of writing. The cap is lighter in weight, allowing it to posted securely on the end of the barrel if you so choose. The section is gently tapered to bolster the comfort of writing with the Belliver. When creating this new design, the craftsmen at Conway Stewart were inspired by some of the greatest designs of the company’s history. Looking to provide not merely an attractive pen, but a true modern classic that would serve faithfully as a reliable and enjoyable fine writing instrument. The
rich amber, bronze and cream colours of the cap and barrel are set off
perfectly by the gold accents. A traditionally styled Conway Stewart
clip ensures that the Belliver is always ready to hand in your pocket,
and the cap and barrel are also adorned with hallmarked gold bands for
the crowning touch of elegance. The combination is at once both warm,
rich, and luxurious, evoking thoughts of vintage burled walnut and
hand stitched leather. |

The
Britannia is the latest in a long line of classically styled solid sterling
silver limited editions from Conway Stewart. It is a stunning expression of the pen
maker’s ark rendered in brightly polished sterling silver
accented with subtle engraving.
The
ancient Latin name for Great Britain is Britannia, and originally referred to
the Roman colony on the island, transforming in time into the identity of a
martial goddess complete with spear, shield, and centurion’s helmet. In the
eighteenth century, this depiction became popular as the national expression of
British Imperial power, and the unity of the nation. Since that time, Britannia
has occurred as a theme consistently on coinage, postage stamps, and throughout
art in Great Britain.
The Conway Stewart Britannia is a full sized pen with polished sterling silver
set of by an elegant engraving design along the cap and barrel. Each piece is
carefully crafted in England to ensure the ultimate expression of fine writing
for our customers. The hallmarked sterling silver forming the cap and barrel
begins as solid rods of precious metal, not hollow stampings, as a result the
Britannia features an imposing heft. The graceful pattern adorning the cap and
barrel is inspired by Art Nouveau designs and adds the perfect finishing touch
to this bold new design.
The refined flat-top design of the Britannia recalls the classic era of the
1920s, when a fine fountain pen was considered not just a luxury, but an
everyday necessity. Like those traditional pens of yesteryear, the Britannia is
balanced to ensure comfort in the hand, whether jotting a short note, or writing
a lengthy letter to loved ones.
The Britannia is balanced precisely at the solid sterling silver gripping
section, allowing the pen to feel as a natural extension of the hand when in
use. When in the pocket, the classically styled clip holds the Britannia
securely in place. A choice of nib widths is
available to ensure the perfect writing style for your tastes. We also offer
three widths of italic cut nibs, which give everyday handwriting a special
flair. Ink is supplied to the Rhodium masked solid 18 carat gold nib via the
reliable and easy to use cartridge converter system. Users can choose between
the wide selection of brightly coloured bottled inks, or the ease and
convenience of ink cartridges. The Britannia is packaged in a rich and elegant
diamond presentation box.

The Nelson is a bold pen, with an impressive heft and balance, featuring a solid
weighty barrel that is always perfectly poised, even when used without posting

the cap with three solid 18 carat gold bands -- one large and two slim denoting
Nelson's rank of Vice Admiral at the Battle of Trafalgar.
Blue? Purple? Red? Our Nebula is a mixture of all three colours interspersed
with accents of pearlescent white. Each individual piece of Nebula rod
stock used in making our Conway Stewart pens is as individual as your

The newest limited edition from Conway Stewart celebrates the life and achievements of one of the greatest engineers of British history, Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
Brunel was born in Plymouth, England in 1806. Plymouth is the home of modern day Conway Stewart and it seems only appropriate for the company to name this superb new design after this local legend.
With an
interest and aptitude for mechanical engineering fostered from an early age,
Brunel went on to become a noted figure of his time, working on such projects as
the Thames River Tunnel, the Clifton Suspension Bridge, the Great Western
Railway, and the design of the first commercially successful steamships.
In keeping with the bold style of Brunel himself, the Conway Stewart Brunel edition is a striking construction of solid hallmarked sterling silver. The cap and barrel are engraved with a crisp design of interlocking angled lines inspired by vintage engineering drawings. The result is a classic fine writing instrument that offers a distinguished and elegant touch of refinement.
The
Conway Stewart Brunel is a full sized pen with polished sterling silver cap and
barrel. The hallmarked sterling silver forming the cap, barrel and gripping
section begins as solid rods of precious metal, not hollow stampings and as a
result the Brunel features an imposing heft.
The Brunel fountain pen is mounted with a large 18 carat solid gold nib in a choice of eight grades. It has a gently tapered front section allowing for a comfortable grip when in prolonged use, assuring each owner the ideal writing experience. This solid sterling silver gripping section leaves the weight centered low in the hand, ensuring that the pen is balanced well when writing.
The large solid 18 carat gold nib is carefully masked with rhodium to match the bright sterling silver of the cap and barrel, with the Conway Stewart logo rendered in gleaming yellow gold at the centre. Ink is supplied by the reliable cartridge converter system, allowing both the use of a wide range of vibrant colours in bottled ink, or the ease and convenience of ink cartridges.
The Conway Stewart Brunel is available in a choice of fountain pen or roller ball writing modes and is housed in luxurious diamond presentation packaging, making this limited edition the perfect gift, or an ideal treat for yourself.

The new
Special Edition from Conway Stewart is inspired by one of the most important
literary figures in English history. At first glance this pen looks like it has
a complex pattern engraved on the cap and barrel, however upon closer inspection
it is possible to read two famous poems by Rudyard Kipling.
Kipling's works of prose and poetry have inspired generations, while also
serving to reflect the great changes in the history and structure of the British
Empire. His work is reflected in this Special Edition through a unique process
that engraves two of his most famous poems along the length of both the cap and
barrel. From a distance this appears as an elegant abstract pattern, when viewed
close at hand, it is revealed as text from the works If and The
Elephant's Child.
Fashioned of rich jet black resin, each writing instrument is further adorned
with polished solid 18 carat gold trim. The nib is also solid 18 carat gold, and
is available in a choice of seven grades from Fine to Extra Broad, Italic Fine,
Italic Medium and Italic Broad. This special edition pen is housed in the
exclusive Conway Stewart luxury diamond shape packaging and the first 100 orders
received will be accompanied by a parchment copy of the If poem.

The Bard joins Conway Stewart’s lineup as a commanding new flagship model. Imposing size and a striking style set the Bard apart from other writing instruments, while the traditional attention to detail, hallmarked accent rings, and distinctive clip mark it as part of the proud Conway Stewart heritage.
Conway Stewart's 'Bard' is inspired by writers and poets who have produced enduring and well loved works which have enriched the cultural fabric of modern day society.
The most famous poet and writer of his generation, William Shakespeare was known simply as 'The Bard', though the term Bard was traditionally used to describe professional poets who were paid to by their Monarch to praise the sovereign's activities. Other famous Bards include William Wordsworth and Robert Burns. The Bard features an untapered cap and barrel, with a squared off profile. A look of sturdy elegance defines the Bards appearance, giving lovers of the outsized in writing instruments a new choice. The section is thinner, allowing for an easy grip without interfering with the Bard’s distinctive look and size. The barrel end is also reduced in size, which makes posting the cap simple and secure. The Bard is available in a choice of four classic colours, Jet Black with polished silver trim, classic Marbled Green, the elegant new Rioja, and vibrant Scarlet Whirl.
A pair of solid hallmarked 18 carat gold bands on the barrel set off the 18 carat solid gold nib, with the clip mounted high on the cap. While a substantial in size, the Bard is still a very usable thanks to the carefully thought out design. The high mounted clip allows the pen to sit low in the pocket. The rebated section design makes for a pen that is suitable for a wide range of hand sizes. The nib is offered in eight nib grades from Extra Fine through Double Broad, as well as three Italic sizes. Filling is via the reliable cartridge converter system, which allows either the convenience of handy ink cartridges or the rich choice of bottled inks.
The Conway Stewart 'Bard' should inspire any writer to great works. Hand crafted from the finest materials, this sleek and modern design is adorned with an 18 carat solid gold nib and hallmarked rings in a choice of either 18 carat solid gold or solid sterling silver.

Conway Stewart’s new Raleigh celebrates the life of one of England’s premier historical figures, Sir Walter Raleigh. A soldier, explorer, poet, historian, and courtier of the late Elizabethan era, Sir Walter Raleigh had a profound influence during an important period of English history.
Raleigh is best known for his exploration of the New World and was also considered one of the foremost poets of the Elizabethan era. He was born in Devon, the current home of Conway Stewart and thus it seems fitting to name a pen designed in the spirit of adventure after the great man.
The Raleigh is a unique design, departing from the traditional in several ways, while still retaining the classic styling cues that denote Conway Stewart’s dedication to the company’s rich heritage. A perfectly proportioned barrel accented with rich solid gold trim rings is topped with a cap that features a slight inward curve towards the top. In the place of a cap band there is a quartet of solid gold cap rings. Both the cap top and barrel end feature a classic stepped design, giving the Raleigh an elegant touch of distinction.
Conway Stewart’s traditional clip makes the perfect finishing touch to the Raleigh. This is a pen that is perfect in both the hand and the pocket, with a size that makes it attractive to both men and women. For today’s busy professional the Raleigh makes the ideal accessory. Available in a rich Jet Black, Classic Green, traditional Lapis Blue, and the exciting new Brown Swirl, the Raleigh fits with any personal style.

The Winston named in honour of Sir Winston Churchill, our best known and perhaps the most respected Prime Minister of the 20th Century. Sir Winston Churchill was a man who was larger than life and had opinions to match. A substantially built man, yet a man of substance!
To compliment the classic favourite Conway Stewart Flagship model Churchill, the new Winston brings a fresh, modern style to the timeless oversize flat top look. The barrel is set off with a thin ring at the bottom, and a band at the section, while the cap features a pair of thin rings.
