Pelikan M250

The M250 has the classic Pelikan plunger-filling mechanism which yields a large ink capacity. Although the same size as the M400 it is less expensive as it has less gold trim; a single gold band round the cap and the filler knob. The nib is 14ct gold. Complete with presentation box.

The pen below is from the shelves of The Pen Museum. It is an earlier (in my mind better) near mint version of the M250 (note the double ring at the base of the cap). The colour is the now discontinued maroon and the nib is the also discontinued 12kt hard medium. (Hard mediums are less flexible than ordinary mediums). As well as being a good every day working pen, this one may be of interest to collectors. Cost £75.
