Pelikan M1000

This really is 'the big one' - Pelikan's
largest fountain pen, the M1000. In all respects other than size it is the
same as the famous M800, once described as "the fountain pen against which
all others should be judged". It has the piston filling mechanism made from
solid brass components with the enormous ink capacity. The clip and trim are
gold plated, with double rings at the ink handle and a single ring on the nib
section. It has a large, hand-crafted gold nib with rhodium decoration, even
larger than the M800, with a fine or medium point. Although I do not stock spare nibs for
the M1000, you can return the pen to Pelikan if you are not happy with the nib
point, to be exchanged - free of charge - to an Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad,
Double Broad, Triple Broad, Oblique Medium, Oblique Broad, Oblique Double
Broad or Oblique Triple Broad. This model is made in the
traditional black and green stripes, or plain black. This pen is
absolutely mint and factory fresh and comes in a large, deluxe, silk-lined
presentation box complete with instructions and guarantee,
which is three years against mechanical failure.
