Norman Rockwell Plate
The Parker Pen Company produced this fine porcelain plate in 1988 to commemorate their 100th anniversary, exclusively for the employees of Parker Pen USA Ltd. The inscription on the back reads "In 1959, Kenneth S. Parker of The Parker Pen Company commissioned artist Norman Rockwell to capture an elusive element in human experience - that flashing, timeless instant when the spirit soars to the first realisation of a fine gift given or received." They produced less than 500 of these plates.
